Removalists Melbourne that backload
Melbourne runs more directions than any city on our network — daily up the Hume, three times a week to Brisbane and (since August 2026) to Adelaide, weekly to Canberra. One engine prices all of it: fixed per-m³ rates inc GST, $20,000 goods-in-transit insurance included, and the whole rate card published where you can check it.
Every route we run through Melbourne.
| Route | Per m³ inc GST | 2-bed home | Runs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Melbourne to Canberra | $109/m³ | $3,055 | Weekly |
| Melbourne to Adelaide | $109/m³ | $3,055 | 3× weekly |
| Melbourne to Sydney | $109/m³ | $3,055 | Daily |
| Melbourne to Brisbane | $153/m³ | $4,308 | 3× weekly |
| Adelaide to Melbourne | $109/m³ | $3,055 | 3× weekly |
| Sydney to Melbourne | $109/m³ | $3,055 | Daily |
| Brisbane to Melbourne | $155/m³ | $4,341 | 3× weekly |
Live engine rates — the same numbers the quote tool charges. The full rate card is public, and local Melbourne moves price hourly with an instant quote.
Beyond the metro
Regional pickups and deliveries around Melbourne price automatically — a short feeder leg on top of the lane rate, cheaper again when your dates are flexible enough to ride a passing truck.
Geelong & Surf Coast
75 km feeder — the busiest regional ring we serve
Ballarat
115 km feeder, rides Adelaide-bound trucks well
Bendigo
150 km feeder onto any northbound departure
Shepparton & Goulburn Valley
On the Sydney corridor — feeder legs point north
Latrobe Valley & Gippsland
Traralgon to Warragul via the eastern feeder
Mornington Peninsula & outer growth belts
Counted as Melbourne metro — no feeder fee
Moving in Melbourne: what actually matters
- 01Inner-north terraces (Fitzroy, Carlton, Brunswick) are most of what we load here — no-driveway streets and clearway windows are routine, but tell us at quote so the right truck comes.
- 02Melbourne-out trucks fill fastest early in the week; a Tuesday/Wednesday pickup gets you the most empty return space and the sharpest slot.
- 03Adelaide launched August 2026 at the same per-m³ rate as the Hume — the Dukes/Western Highway run is overnight, and the Adelaide Hills count as metro on delivery.
- 04Avoid Friday-morning pickups before long weekends: the Hume northbound out of Craigieburn can cost the truck half a day before it clears the city.
Melbourne questions.
Do you do local moves within Melbourne?
Yes — intra-Melbourne moves price hourly (crew + truck + fuel per km, 2-hour minimum) with an instant quote. Bayside to the outer growth corridors is all one metro on our pricing.
Which interstate routes run from Melbourne?
Daily to Sydney (overnight on the Hume), 3× weekly to Brisbane (2 days, inland Newell) and to Adelaide (overnight — live since August 2026), weekly to Canberra (overnight via the Barton Highway). Each route page carries live prices by home size.
Can you collect from Geelong, Ballarat or Bendigo?
Yes — all three are inside the feeder ring and auto-quote as a transfer leg on top of the lane rate. Go flexible on dates and the feeder can ride a passing truck, which prices it lower.
