Price a consignment in ten seconds

One pallet space is 1165 × 1165 mm, 1.8 m tall and 500 kg. Break any one of those three and the pallet buys more space — never twice for the same pallet. That's the whole arithmetic on this card.

One pallet space holds 2.3 m³ — a 1165 × 1165 mm base stacked to 1.8 m. Picture your goods as a cube: roughly every 2.3 m³ is one space. A stack of 60 archive boxes ≈ 2 pallets; a small machine on a skid ≈ 1. Declare what will actually ship — loads that turn up bigger than declared get re-rated at the dock.

Per-pallet rates fall as the consignment grows — one pickup, one delivery and the paperwork spread across more pallets. 2–3 pallets never bill more than one or less than four · ≤500 kg per pallet included; over 500 kg a pallet bills pro rata — 1.25 spaces at 625 kg, 1.5 at 750 kg, 2 at 1,000 kg (weight is what fills a truck) · stacked over 1.8 m bills 2 spaces a pallet, over 2.4 m is priced by hand · over 1,000 kg or 8+ spaces is priced by hand within a business day · tail-lift $45/pallet per end, up to 750 kg a pallet (heavier needs a dock or forklift) · residential ends $55 per end, kerbside service · no dangerous goods on shared decks · claims windows published in our carriage terms · quotes valid 14 days.

No fuel levy. Ever.

The industry quotes a rate, then adds a weekly-indexed fuel levy on top — published at 34.63% on palletised express at one major this month. Ours is $0, forever, because diesel is already in the card. We reprice the card when diesel moves — your booked price doesn't change.

No account minimums.

Two pallets a month is a customer, not an inconvenience. First shipments are payment-before-pickup; after three clean runs we can move you to 14-day invoicing, agreed in writing (credit at our discretion). No forms before you see a price.

Backhaul honesty.

Some legs run with spare deck, and we'd rather fill them than pretend otherwise — those lanes are marked and priced sharper. Adelaide shippers do especially well out of this.

How much does it cost to send a pallet from Melbourne to Sydney?

$245 for a single pallet space, GST and fuel included. That covers a standard 1165 × 1165 mm pallet up to 1.8 m tall and 500 kg. The full card for every lane is published on this page.

Do you charge a fuel levy on pallet freight?

No. Diesel is priced inside the published rate, so the price you book is the price you're invoiced. Most national carriers quote a rate and then add a weekly-indexed fuel levy on top — published above 30% on palletised express at one major carrier recently.

What counts as one pallet space?

1165 × 1165 mm footprint, up to 1.8 m tall and 500 kg. A space is a footprint, a height AND a weight, and whichever you break first is what bills: heavier pallets take more of the truck's legal payload, so over 500 kg a pallet bills pro rata — 1.25 spaces at 625 kg, 1.5 at 750 kg, 2 at 1,000 kg — and a stack over 1.8 m buys 2 spaces because it occupies the deck a second pallet would have used. A pallet that's both tall and heavy is billed once, at the bigger of the two. Tail-lift deliveries are capped at 750 kg per pallet — that's the machine's limit, not a policy.

Do I need an account or a monthly minimum to book?

No. Price it on this page, book it, pay before pickup. There's no account to open and no monthly minimum — two pallets a month is a customer, not an inconvenience. After three clean runs we can move you to 14-day invoicing.

Can you pick up or deliver at a residential address?

Yes, kerbside, declared when you book so the right truck comes. A home end is $55 — no dock, no forklift, a street a semi often can't work, and the driver waits on a person rather than a loading bay. If there's no forklift or dock at either end we bring a tail-lift ($45 a pallet per end) — pallets over 750 kg can't ride a tail-lift, so those need a forklift on the ground.
