How does your insurance work for B2B freight?
Pea does not currently provide goods-in-transit insurance. Your freight travels under our Terms of Carriage, and the carrier on your lane holds its own goods-in-transit cover as a condition of running with us. Most business insurance packages include or can add transit cover — check yours before the first shipment, and declare high-value consignments at booking.
Can you handle pallets and fragile freight?
Yes — palletized freight now has its own published per-pallet rate card with instant prices at pealogistics.com.au/freight. Standard 1.2×1.2m pallets are fine, and we can carry up to 16 on a full pantech. Fragile freight is wrapped, strapped, and loaded with care; we'll match the lane to a partner driver experienced with the goods type.
What about temperature-controlled freight?
Not in V1. Freight on our network travels in ambient (non-refrigerated) pantechs. If you have chilled or frozen freight, get in touch — we can refer you to a verified partner while we build out the cold-chain lanes.

Can we book on your platform via API?
On the roadmap for 2026. In the meantime, we accept CSV upload for batch bookings and we can wire a webhook for delivery confirmations into your ops tool of choice.
