Removalists Adelaide that backload
South Australia joined the network in August 2026 because Adelaide was the most-requested corridor on our waitlist — and it launched at the same per-m³ rate as our busiest lane, because the Melbourne corridor runs balanced in both directions. Three trucks a week to Melbourne, weekly to Sydney, and the whole metro from Gawler to the Fleurieu edge quotes instantly.
Every route we run through Adelaide.
| Route | Per m³ inc GST | 2-bed home | Runs |
|---|---|---|---|
| Adelaide to Melbourne | $109/m³ | $3,055 | 3× weekly |
| Adelaide to Sydney | $169/m³ | $4,734 | Weekly |
| Adelaide to Brisbane | $179/m³ | $5,038 | New — Aug 2026 |
| Melbourne to Adelaide | $109/m³ | $3,055 | 3× weekly |
| Sydney to Adelaide | $147/m³ | $4,133 | Weekly |
| Brisbane to Adelaide | $168/m³ | $4,711 | New — Aug 2026 |
Live engine rates — the same numbers the quote tool charges. The full rate card is public, and local Adelaide moves price hourly with an instant quote.
Beyond the metro
Regional pickups and deliveries around Adelaide price automatically — a short feeder leg on top of the lane rate, cheaper again when your dates are flexible enough to ride a passing truck.
Adelaide Hills
Stirling, Hahndorf, Mount Barker — counted as metro, no feeder fee
Barossa Valley
75 km feeder onto any eastbound departure
Murray Bridge
80 km feeder — on the Melbourne corridor anyway
Victor Harbor & Fleurieu
85 km feeder from the southern coast
Clare Valley
140 km feeder, inside the auto-quote ring
Moving in Adelaide: what actually matters
- 01The Hills count as Adelaide metro on our pricing — no feeder fee for Stirling, Aldgate, Hahndorf or Mount Barker, though a steep driveway is worth mentioning at quote.
- 02Heading east is the thinner freight direction, so Adelaide-out space is usually easy to book at short notice — and the ±1 week flex discount matters more here than anywhere.
- 03No fresh produce through the Riverland fruit-fly zones in either direction, and no plants in soil across any border — SA enforces this properly.
- 04Whyalla, Port Augusta and Port Lincoln sit beyond the auto-quote ring: those route to a hand-priced confirmation within a business day rather than a guessed instant number.
Adelaide questions.
Do you do local moves within Adelaide?
Yes — intra-Adelaide moves price on the hourly model with an instant quote, covering the metro from Gawler to the Fleurieu edge including the Hills.
Which interstate routes run from Adelaide?
Melbourne 3× weekly (728 km, overnight — same per-m³ rate both directions), Sydney weekly (1,376 km, 2 days, priced by direction because the eastbound leg runs thinner), and Brisbane direct since August 2026 (1,940 km, ~3 days — the longest lane on the card, and the dearest per m³, which is what that corridor genuinely costs). Canberra has no direct schedule yet and routes to a manual quote.
Why does Adelaide to Sydney cost more per m³ than Sydney to Adelaide?
Because the legs don't run equally full — more household freight flows into SA than out, so an Adelaide-out truck shares its costs across fewer paying loads. We print both rates on the public rate card rather than hiding the gap in a 'from' price.
