Moving interstate? Pay for the space, not the whole truck.

Furniture goes on the truck wrapped in heavy moving blankets and secured with tie-down straps. Boxes are loaded on top, fragile-marked boxes go on top of stacks. The driver does a walk-through with you at pickup so you can flag anything that needs extra care.

Yes for clothes, books, kitchenware, decor — anything that's not a whole piece of furniture. Boxes stack and protect; loose items don't. You can buy boxes from us at quote time, or grab free ones from any supermarket.

Cars, no — we don't run vehicle transport. Motorbikes and mopeds, yes, depending on the lane and load on the day. Mention it in the quote notes and we'll confirm before booking.

Anything flammable, explosive, or perishable: petrol, gas bottles, paint, fireworks, plants with soil, food in the fridge. Pets and people travel separately for safety. Live ammo and firearms have to go through a licensed firearms transporter.

Backloading is shared, so storage on the truck isn't possible. We can deliver to a self-storage unit on your behalf for a small handling fee — book it ahead and tell us at quote time.

Stairs are $80 at each end for the first flight, then $60 for every flight after that — a fourth-floor walk-up genuinely costs more than a first-floor one. Long carries (more than 20m from truck to door) and lift bookings can add extra time — flag them in the quote so we don't surprise you.

Sometimes — depends on the lane. SYD↔MEL and SYD↔BNE often have next-day pickup; smaller lanes book 3–5 days ahead. Same-day moves carry a short-notice fee — a flat $200 interstate, or 10% on a local move — and are subject to truck availability.
