About Pea Logistics

Empty trucks are a waste. We're fixing that.

Pea Logistics exists because empty trucks are a waste — of fuel, of money, and of capacity that someone else needs. We connect interstate trucks already on the road with people and businesses who need their stuff moved.

Backloading is an old practice in trucking. The hard part is matching the right load to the right truck on the right day. We build the software, set the standards, and run the customer side so partner carriers can do what they do best — drive.

No new trucks. No extra emissions. Just smarter use of the kilometres already being driven.

How we think about it.

01

Use the kilometres already being driven

Every interstate freight movement leaves an empty leg. The most sustainable load is one that fills space already in motion.

02

Plain prices, no haggling

$/m³ rates per lane, baked-in GST, baked-in insurance. The number you see is the number you pay.

03

Lanes follow demand

We add lanes where customers and partners overlap. Tell us where you need to go — we'll wire it up.

Climate maths

The kilometres are the same. The carbon isn't.

A 12-tonne pantech burns ~30L diesel per 100km. Diesel emits ~2.7kg CO₂ per litre. When we fill the empty leg, that carbon is already in the air whether your stuff is on the truck or not — your slice of the trip is effectively zero additional emissions.

~25kg
CO₂ saved per m³ on a shared SYD↔MEL trip
~550kg
CO₂ avoided on a typical 2-bedroom interstate move
~1,400kg
CO₂ a single dedicated SYD↔MEL round trip emits
